Abstract:
Provided is a cleaning device whereby, even when a flange-shaped protrusion is present on the external peripheral side of a material to be cleaned, the proximal-end side of the flange-shaped protrusion can be struck by a striking wheel. A cleaning device (1) comprises a removal part (330) for removing, from a material (100) to be cleaned which is fed in the length direction thereof, an adhering substance adhering to the material (100) to be cleaned. The removal part (330) comprises rotary shafts (331) positioned parallel to the feed direction of the material (100) to be cleaned, turning members (333) which turn about the rotary shafts (331) on the peripheral sides of the rotary shafts (331), and striking wheels (34) attached to the turning members (333) so as to be able to freely move in a direction intersecting with the feed direction.
