The present invention addresses the problem of providing a cleaning device that can prevent: a chemical of a type different from a chemical undergoing a shortage from being replenished; degradation, damage or insufficient cleaning of an article subjected to cleaning, as a result of the use of an unsuitable chemical; and degradation and malfunctioning of the cleaning device.　To solve the problem, a cleaning device (10) comprises: a plurality of chemical bottles (34) each having a recording unit (38) that records the type of the chemical held; a chemical bottle installation unit (36) in which the plurality of chemical bottles (34) are installed; a storage unit (48) that stores, in mutual association, positions of the chemical bottles in the chemical bottle installation unit (36), and the types of chemicals held in the chemical bottles (34) installed in said positions; and a control unit (42) that performs control for exchange of the chemical bottles (34), such that, if one of the types of chemicals associated with the position of one of the chemical bottles (34) that has been exchanged matches the type of the chemical held in the exchanged chemical bottle (34) read from the storage unit (38), a notification that replenishing of the chemical has been completed is issued, and if the types do not match, then notification that the types do not match is issued.
