Abstract:
In order to provide a cleaning member having a fibrous material, with the surface of the cleaning member formed of plain weave or twill weave fibrous material and satin weave fibrous material, with which attachment of particles to the surface or inside of the fibers is prevented and the effect of scraping particles is maintained for a long time, a cleaning member 1 for cleaning particles 6 and liquid contained in dust, powder, or liquid which are attached onto an approximately smooth surface is characterized by comprising a woven fabric 2 with a striped pattern and a support member 5 for the woven fabric, the woven fabric 2 having a surface which is the face brought into contact with particles 6 or liquid and is formed from a recessed stripe part 3 and a projecting stripe part 4, wherein particles 6 and liquid contained in dust, powder, or liquid attached onto an approximately smooth surface are cleaned by steps 13 formed by the recessed stripe part 3 and projecting stripe part 4 of the woven fabric 2 with a striped pattern, the relative speed of the cleaning member 1 having the woven fabric 2 with a striped pattern formed from the recessed stripe part 3 and projecting stripe part 4, the abutting load of the cleaning member 1, and the action of scraping particles 6 by, for example, the angle of the projecting stripe part 4 of the woven fabric 2 with a striped pattern formed from the recessed stripe part 3 and projecting stripe part 4.
