Abstract:
A clothes dryer comprises a front support (1) and a filtering device (5). The front support (1) is provided with a drying air duct. An air outlet of the drying air duct is in communication with an internal circulation air duct of the clothes dryer, and an air inlet of the drying air duct is in communication with a clothes processing chamber of the clothes dryer. The filtering device (5) is inserted inside the air channel through the air inlet, and covers the whole cross section of the drying air duct. The whole filtering device (5) can be accommodated and mounted in the inner space of the front support (1), and accordingly, the problem in the prior art of only allowing a layer of filtering net to be arranged due to the narrow space of the drying air duct is resolved; in the prior art, the number of meshes of the filtering net is not great enough, otherwise, a great air resistance is generated and the filtering net is easily blocked. In the clothes dryer, the filtering device (5) is wholly disposed in the drying air duct, and accordingly, the area of the filtering device (5) for blocking thread residuals in increased, thereby improving the filtering efficiency.
