Abstract:

This clothes treatment device is provided with a receiving tank which receives clothes, and with a vapor supply mechanism which supplies vapor to the receiving tank. The vapor supply mechanism has: a vapor generator which has a wall surface for defining a chamber for generating vapor; a heater (425) which heats the wall surface; and a water supply mechanism which discharges water toward the wall surface. The water supply mechanism has: a connection pipe which is connected to the vapor generator; an inflow opening (437) which discharges water into the vapor generator; and a vapor discharge opening (438) which discharges vapor from the inside of the vapor generator. The wall surface of a vapor flow passage which extends from the inflow opening (437) to the vapor discharge opening (438) is irregularly formed. As a result of this configuration, the size of the peeled off pieces of impurities formed in the vapor flow passage is reduced and the peeled off pieces can be easily blown off by vapor. Consequently, the impurities do not lodge.
