Abstract:
A clothing dryer comprises: a cabinet; a drum which is rotatably provided in the cabinet; a heat pump which generates hot air to be supplied into the drum; a fan which induces hot air generated by the heat pump into the drum; a hot air supply duct which is connected to the rear surface of the drum and guides hot air induced by the fan into the drum; a scroll in which the fan is accommodated and which guides hot air discharged from the fan to the hot air supply duct; and a discharge duct which connects the scroll and the hot air supply duct to each other, wherein the rear surface of the scroll is located forward of the rear surface of the hot air supply duct, and the scroll is disposed obliquely toward the rear surface of the hot air supply duct.
