Abstract:
A clothing treatment apparatus is disclosed. The clothing treatment apparatus of the present disclosure comprises: a cabinet; a tub that is disposed inside the cabinet and provides a space for storing water; a drum rotatably provided inside the tub; and a pump provided with a supply port connected to the tub and a discharge port connected to the outside of the cabinet. The pump comprises: a housing; a first chamber that is disposed inside the housing and communicates with the supply port; a second chamber that is disposed inside the housing and communicates with the discharge port; a first partition that divides the first chamber and the second chamber; a chamber communication hole that is formed in the first partition and communicates the first chamber and the second chamber; an impeller rotatably provided inside the second chamber; and a second partition that is located in the first chamber and extends downward from a first surface of the housing that provides an upper boundary of the first chamber.
