Provided are a coal ash product processing device and processing method that make the size of a coal ash product that includes granules and granule conjugates a prescribed diameter or smaller. This coal ash product processing device 200 comprises: a primary classifier that 80 that classifies a coal ash product as larger than a reference value or at or below the reference value; and a breakdown apparatus 90 that breaks down coal ash product that is larger than the reference value and returns coal ash product that has been broken down to at or below the reference value to the primary classifier 80. The coal ash product includes: granules that have been granulated from a raw material that includes coal ash and then cured at curing equipment; and granule conjugates that are conjugates of a plurality of the granules. The breakdown apparatus 90 breaks down coal ash product that is larger than the reference value and only discharges coal ash product that has passed through spaces that are the reference value wide.
