Abstract:
Provided is a coating apparatus capable of improving the workability of replacing a sheet member and a varnish plate. The coating apparatus is provided with: a varnish cylinder 1A on which a varnish feeding plate to coat a coated material with varnish is wound; and a varnish impression cylinder 1B that is arranged facing the varnish cylinder 1A to transfer the varnish of the varnish plate 11 onto the coated material. The varnish cylinder 1A is provided with a varnish plate holding part 13 that holds one end of the varnish plate 11 to wind the varnish plate 11 on a peripheral surface thereof, and a sheet member holding part 15 that holds one end of the sheet member 12 to interpose a thickness adjustment sheet member 12 between the varnish plate 11 and the varnish cylinder 1A according to the thickness of the varnish plate. The coating apparatus is provided with a sheet member guidance part 16 that is arranged close to the varnish cylinder 1A and guides the sheet member 12 to the sheet member holding part 15.
