Abstract:

A coating composition capable of giving a coating film which contains a fluoropolymer and which has improved adhesion to iron and stainless steel, can retain this adhesion even at high temperatures, and has excellent heat resistance. The coating composition comprises a terminal−modified polyarylene sulfide resin and a fluoropolymer, the terminal−modified polyarylene sulfide resin having at a polymer end a group represented by the following general formula (1): −Ar−Y (1) (wherein Ar represents arylene and Y represents −SH or hydrogen).
