Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a coating device capable of coating uniformly a fluid or a powder onto a base material that has been placed on a table, regardless of the state of the base material. [Solution] A table 3, a head unit 5 for coating an adhesive C on the surface of a base material P placed on the table 3, and a hoisting and lowering mechanism 80 for adjusting the interval between the table 3 and the head unit 5 are involved. The coating device 1 is able to coat an adhesive C uniformly onto the base material P placed on the table 3 due to, inter alia, the hoisting and lowering mechanism 80 adjusting the interval between the table 3 and the head unit 5 in such a manner that the head unit 5 abuts on the base material P, and the head unit 5 coating the adhesive C while in abutment with the base material P.
