Abstract:
Provided is a coating forming method capable of forming a coating that is superior in terms of coating tension and coating adhesion. The present invention provides a coating forming method for forming a coating on the surface of a steel plate, wherein, when applying a fibrous-substance-containing coating-forming treatment liquid on the surface of the steel plate by using a coater, the application is performed under conditions in which the speed difference between the steel plate and an applicator of the coater becomes 1.0 m/min or greater, and the steel-plate surface on which the coating-forming treatment liquid has been applied is subsequently dried after maintaining, until drying is started, a state in which the steel plate is inclined at 10º or more from the horizontal.
