Abstract:

The coating material composition according to the present invention contains a nonionic water-dispersible resin (a), a phosphate-modified epoxy resin (b), a melamine compound (c), a silane coupling agent (d), and silica particles (e) having undergone ion-exchange with divalent metal ions. With respect to 100 parts by mass of the total of components (a), (b), and (c), the contained amount of the nonionic water-dispersible resin (a) is 60-94.5 parts by mass, the contained amount of the phosphate-modified epoxy resin (b) is 5-39.5 parts by mass, the contained amount of the melamine compound (c) is 0.5-10 parts by mass, and the contained amount of the silane coupling agent (d) is 0.3-5 parts by mass.
