Abstract:
A coaxial connector (10) to which a coaxial cable (220) is mounted is provided with: a housing (12) including a circular cylindrical section (20), an affixation section (24) which extends along the coaxial cable (220), and a cover (22) which covers one side of the circular cylindrical section (20); a bushing (14) mounted to the housing (12); and a socket (16) located at the center of the circular cylindrical section (20) and connected to a center conductor (224) while being insulated from the housing (12). A narrowed section is formed at the joint J between the circular cylindrical section (20) and the affixation section (24). A diameter increase prevention section (25) located around the circular cylindrical section (20) and applying restoring force toward the center of the circular cylindrical section (20) is provided to the cover (22) in order to prevent the diameter of the circular cylindrical section (20) from increasing when a receptacle (230) is connected.
