Abstract:
The present application provides coding and decoding methods and devices. In the method, a sending-end device determines a first low density parity check (LDPC) matrix according to the number of bits of first transmission bits, codes information bits according to the first LDPC matrix to obtain first transmission bits, and then sends the first transmission bits. As the first LDPC matrix is determined according to the number of bits of the first transmission bits, and the number of bits of the first transmission bits is different, the coding rate of the first LDPC matrix is also different. The sending-end device is able to flexibly adapt different coding rates for different numbers of transmission bits, thereby improving the reliability of data transmission and also saving data transmission resources.
