Abstract:

[Problem] To solve a problem caused by contact between a conductor post and a magnetic element, in a coil component having a structure in which a coil pattern and the conductor post are embedded in the magnetic element. [Solution] A coil component 1 includes: a magnetic element M made of a resin containing magnetic powder; a coil portion C embedded in the magnetic element M; conductor posts BP1, BP2 embedded in the magnetic element M, and each having one end connected to the coil portion C and the other end exposed from the magnetic element M; an insulating layer 65 provided between the conductor posts BP1, BP2 and the magnetic element M; and insulating layers 61-64 provided between the coil portion C and the magnetic element M. Thus, since the insulating layer 65 is provided between the conductor posts BP1, BP2 and the magnetic element M, it is possible to secure the insulating property between the conductor posts BP1, BP2 and the magnetic element M, and prevent peeling therebetween.
