Abstract:
A coil device characterized by being equipped with two core members, a conducting wire wound around a core formed by arranging the two core members opposing one another in the up/down direction with a gap therebetween, and first and second heat radiation plates comprising metal plates, with at least one of the two core members being an E-type core member and said E-type core member formed having a side surface on the left and right, with the middle leg, around which the conductor wire is wound, extending in the up/down direction, and the first and second heat radiation plates formed curved so as to contact the upper surface and side surfaces of the core, and arranged so as to be left-right symmetrical with respect to the core, with a gap between one of the end edges of each heat radiation plate, and the other end edge of each capable of making contact with a metal heat radiation substrate on which the core is mounted.
