Abstract:
This coil comprises first and second segment conductors, and a welded metal part in which the first and second segment conductors are welded. The first and second segment conductor each has: a fixed part that is held in a stator core and extends in a first direction; an inclined part that extends from the stator core and extends in a second direction that is inclined with respect to the first direction, the side surfaces of the inclined part being coated with an insulating coating film; and a welded part that is provided on the tip of the inclined part, the welded part having a first face positioned within the second-direction-extending surface of one face among the side surfaces, a second face that is in contact with the first face, and a third face that is in contact with the second face. The welded metal part is in contact with the first face, the second face, and the third face of the first segment conductor, as well as the first face and the second face of the second segment conductor.
