Abstract:
Coin, medal or casino token with a first side and a second side, comprising at least one first layer (1) made of a first material and at least one second layer (2) made of a second material, wherein the first layer (1) is between 10 µm and 90 µm, preferably 20 µm thick. The invention further relates to a method for producing a coin wherein the coin is produced, more particularly punched, from a clad sheet-like composite material, and to a method for producing a coin wherein the coin is formed from a ring (5) and a core (4) arranged inside the ring, wherein the core and the ring are punched from a clad sheet-like composite material and subsequently the core (4) is inserted rotated into the ring (5) and is fixed therein.
