Abstract:
A coin processing device 10 comprising a coin inspection part 21a that determines the authenticity and the denomination of deposited coins, a temporary holding part 22 that temporarily holds the coins determined to be authentic by the coin inspection part 21a, a sorting part 23 that sorts the coins by denomination when the coins temporarily held in the temporary holding part 22 have been conveyed to the sorting part 23, a plurality of storage boxes 24 that store, by denomination, the coins sorted by the sorting part 23, and a dispensing conveyance part 25 that conveys coins delivered from the storage boxes 24, the coin processing device 10 storing the coins deposited and determined to be authentic in the storage boxes 24 and dispensing the coins stored in any given storage box 24 in accordance with a dispensing instruction, wherein the plurality of storage boxes 24 are provided vertically in a plurality of levels.
