Abstract:
Provided are a coke oven, a method for regulating a temperature distribution in the coke oven, a method for operating the coke oven, and a method for producing coke, in all of which a temperature distribution, along the oven-length direction, of a combustion chamber can be regulated by supplying adequate amounts of air to flues of the combustion chamber that have decreased in combustion temperature. A coke oven (A) includes: an air blower (20) connected to one fuel supply system in order to supply air to flues (2a), (2b) using said fuel supply system when a combustion chamber (2) is operated with another fuel supply system and an air supply system; and an air supply amount calculator (21) which calculates a shortage of air flow rate for each of the flues (2a), (2b) on the basis of actually measured temperatures of the interiors of the flues (2a), (2b) in the combustion chamber (2). The air blower (20) supplies air in an amount corresponding to the shortage of air flow rate calculated by the air supply amount calculator (21), to each flue (2a), (2b) which is short of air flow rate.
