Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cold and hot water dispenser using a bag-in-box, and more particularly, to a cold and hot water dispenser in which a disposable bag-in-box is arranged at the upper surface of a main body of the dispenser to enable the bag-in-box to supply water from the bag-in-box, and the structure of the cold and hot water dispenser is optimized to allow for application of the bag-in-box, thus solving various problems caused by the repeated use of a water bottle, various problems caused when washing the water bottle, problems of excessive cost caused by the washing or replacement of the water bottle, etc. Further, the cold and hot water dispenser of the present invention: (A') may significantly shorten the contact time (2 to 3 seconds) between water and air when filling water in the bag-in-box; (B') may reduce the volume of the interior of the bag-in-box itself as the water in the bag-in-box is consumed due to the characteristics of the bag-in-box so that no contact occurs between the water remaining in the bag-in-box and air; and (C') is configured such that a cold and hot water separation plate is excluded from the interior of the cold and hot water dispenser and a cold water tank and a hot water tank are not communicated with external air. Contact between the water and air is prevented in all processes of (A'), (B'), and (C') to thereby not only prevent the water from spoiling but also to enable in-advance prevention of bacterial penetration and propagation. In addition, a front end (the portion where a water communicating hole is formed) of a supply pin is located either collinearly with a water storage limit line or below the water storage limit line, thereby preventing water from remaining in the water bottle, which prevents the water from being wasted or causing deposits. Further, in applying the bag-in-box to the cold and hot water dispenser, an adaptor is arranged at a lower surface of the bag-in-box to prevent an outlet of the bag-in-box from being pushed toward the bag-in-box, thereby enabling smooth supply of water and enabling the bag-in-box to be easily fixed at the upper surface of the main body of the cold and hot water dispenser. A separate location fixing bar is installed along an edge of the upper surface of the main body of the cold and hot water dispenser so as to prevent the initial set location of the bag-in-box from easily rotating or deviating by an impact applied from an external source. According to the present invention, a novel type of cold and hot water dispenser completely different from conventional dispensers may be provided in a cold and hot water dispenser business structure in which distribution and management are monopolized by a large company. Thus, consumers may be provided with high quality water with a widened range of selection, and various problems caused by the use of conventional water bottles can be solved at the national level, thereby achieving the results of promoting individual health, business restructuring, etc.
