Abstract:
Provided is a coloring material dispersion for a color filter, whereby a colored layer having enhanced contrast can be formed. A coloring material dispersion for a color filter, containing a coloring material, a pigment derivative, a dispersing agent, and a solvent, wherein the coloring material includes a diketo-pyrrolo-pyrrole-based coloring material, the pigment derivative is a mixture including a monosulfonated derivative of a diketo-pyrrolo-pyrrole-based coloring material and a disulfonated derivative of a diketo-pyrrolo-pyrrole-based coloring material, the mole ratio [monosulfonated derivative/(monosulfonated derivative + disulfonated derivative)] of the monosulfonated derivative to the total number of moles of the monosulfonated derivative and the disulfonated derivative being 0.10 to 0.90, and the dispersing agent is a polymer having constituent units represented by general formula (I).
