Abstract:
A combustion state evaluation method that includes: a creation step, a division step, a first calculation step, a second calculation step, a third calculation step, a volume calculation step, and a volume prediction step. In the creation step, waste accumulated in at least a combustion section is observed, and three-dimensional thermal images are created. In the division step, the waste in the three-dimensional thermal images is mesh-divided into a plurality of elements. In the first calculation step, the thickness of the waste and the surface movement speed of the waste are calculated for each element. In the second calculation step, thickness progression information is calculated for each element. In the third calculation step, volumetric flow rate progression information is calculated for each element. In the volume calculation step, the volume of waste being burned at the current point in time is calculated. In the volume prediction step, the volume of waste being burned after the elapse of a first time is predicted.
