Abstract:
The present invention provides a communication device (1) that can easily determine a communication quality state. The communication device (1) comprises: an acquisition unit (2) that acquires a predetermined number or more of measurements of communication quality information in an optical communication channel; an estimation unit (3) that calculates an average value of the acquired measurements, generates a first cumulative distribution function of communication quality information based on the acquired measurements, and estimates a second cumulative distribution function of communication quality information on the basis of the average value and the first cumulative distribution function, the second cumulative distribution function being based on hypothetically-acquired measurements the number of which is greater than the number of the acquired measurements; and a determination unit (4) that determines, as a standard quality value, a value of communication quality information the cumulative probability of which becomes a predetermined value in the second cumulative distribution function.
