Abstract:
Provided is a communication device in compliance with the IEEE 802.11 series of standards that communicates operation information pertaining to wireless communication with another communication device. The operation information includes frequency bandwidth information and frequency information for wireless communication. The frequency bandwidth information includes information indicating whether the frequency bandwidth for use in wireless communication is greater than or equal to 240 MHz. The frequency information includes, when the frequency bandwidth is greater than or equal to 240 MHz, information pertaining to frequencies in 80 MHz on the high-frequency side of the frequency bandwidth.
