Abstract:
Provided is a communication device for an elevator with which it is possible to perform, using a simple configuration, a highly reliable correction on the time managed by a control panel of the elevator. The communication device is provided with: a time management unit for managing the time; a transmission unit for transmitting, to a time presentation device provided at a location set apart from the elevator, time correction request information that includes information indicating the elevator-side transmission time; a reception unit for receiving time correction information, which includes information indicating the elevator-side transmission time, information indicating the time-presentation-device-side reception time, and information indicating the time-presentation-device-side transmission time, when the time presentation device receives the time correction request information and transmits the time correction information; and a time correction unit for correcting the time managed by the time management unit on the basis of the time correction information received by the reception unit and information indicating the reception time for the time correction information, and correcting the time managed by a control panel of the elevator on the basis of the corrected time.
