Abstract:
A communication device capable of generating a transmission signal to another station
as a desired signal without measuring the delay time caused by the round-trip propagation
to the satellite. The communication device comprises a replica signal generating
means (a first demodulating section (3), a binarizing section (4), a demodulator
(5), and filter (8)) generates a replica signal as a replica of the outbound signal
by using the difference ( ) of the power density between the outbound signal and
the inbound signal and by demodulating the outbound signal as an unwanted signal,
a signal delay section (7) for generating a delay superimposition signal by delaying
the superimposition signal by a time necessary for the replica signal generating
section to generate the replica signal, and a signal cancel section (8) for canceling
the unwanted replica signal generated by the replica signal generating signal
from the delay superimposition signal. Thus, the measurement of the delay time
is unnecessary.
