Abstract:
The present disclosure pertains to a communication device, a communication method, and a program that make it possible to perform appropriate output control based on time synchronization on a plurality of sensors. The present disclosure is provided with: a communication processing control unit that performs communication processing control according to a prescribed standard, with a plurality of sensors; and a time synchronization counter for achieving timing control defined by the standard. The present disclosure then synchronizes in time, with the time synchronization counter, a time synchronization counter included in each of the plurality of sensors, and performs information processing necessary for output control in which the plurality of sensors are caused to output, along with sampling data sampled at a prescribed sampling period therein, time data indicating timing when the sampling data are sampled. The present technology can be applied, for example, to a communication system which is employed for a mobile body including a plurality of sensors.
