Abstract:
The present invention implements a communication configuration that enables communication data in an image to be acquired without performing high-accuracy synchronous processing. A transmission device comprises a projector for performing image output, and an output image generation unit for generating a projector output image. The output image generation unit generates a communication data image in which communication data are recorded, and the projector sets the output period of the communication data image to be longer than the output period of a subframe image constituting a viewing image, and outputs the communication data image. A reception device detects an event having a brightness change greater than or equal to a predetermined threshold value, receives input of event information comprising the pixel position and occurrence time of an event occurrence pixel, detects the communication data image included in a projected image on the basis of an event occurrence interval, and acquires the communication data from the communication data image.
