Abstract:
This invention is provided with an S/N computation circuit (12) for calculating the SN ratio of a reception signal, and an S/N comparison circuit (13) for performing a comparison between the S/N calculated by the S/N computation circuit (12) and a threshold value (Th). A parameter setting circuit (14) controls the radiation state of a beam radiated from a transmission optical system (5) according to the result of the comparison performed by the S/N comparison circuit (13). It is thereby possible to minimize degradation of communication quality even when there is a deterioration of the propagation environment, and to improve the stability of communication.
