Abstract:
Disclosed is a communication method. According to the method, a base station can receive a router advertisement message, perform self-learning according to the router advertisement message to generate a virtual local area network identifier, an interface network address and a route, and then acquire association information of an upper-layer service, wherein the association information may represent association relationships between the upper-layer service, such as a management plane service, a control plane service and a user plane service, above a network layer in TCP/IP hierarchy and a virtual local area network at a data link layer; and on the basis of the association relationships in the association information, and of the pre-generated virtual local area network identifier and interface network address, a virtual local area network and a network address of the upper-layer service can be automatically determined, such that planning-free transmission by the base station and automatic configuration can be realized, thereby improving the configuration efficiency and reducing configuration costs.
