Abstract:
Provided are a communication method, apparatus and system. The method comprises: a charging network element receiving at least one first multi-usage-amount unit from a session management network element, wherein each first multi-usage-amount unit includes a PDU address and at least one usage amount unit reported on the basis of the PDU address, and each usage amount unit of the at least one usage amount unit includes service data usage amount information of the PDU address; and the charging network element generating at least one charging data record according to the at least one first multi-usage-amount unit, wherein each charging data record includes at least one second multi-usage-amount unit, and each second multi-usage-amount unit corresponds to one or more first multi-usage-amount units which have the same PDU address. Therefore, service data usage amount information is reported on the basis of the granularity of a PDU address, and a charging data record is generated on the basis of the granularity of the PDU address, so that the service data usage amount of a terminal device can be charged on the basis of the granularity of the PDU address, thereby facilitating the improvement of the precision and accuracy of charging.
