Abstract:
The present application provides a communication method and apparatus, capable of helping to control the loss caused by missed-detection data packets in a reasonable way, and helpful to reach an optimal balance point between the cost of the terminal and detection performance. The method comprises: a first terminal apparatus determining a reception capability parameter and/or a transmission capability parameter according to a first parameter, said reception capability parameter comprising the number of channels which can be received in a first time interval, and/or the maximum number of received bits; the transmission capability parameter comprising the maximum number of transmission bits; the first parameter being preconfigured, or the first parameter being configured by a network device. The first parameter is used for side-link transmission, and the first parameter comprises one or more of the following: the maximum interval between the time slots of the first transmission and the last retransmission, the sub-carrier spacing, and the sub-band size; the first terminal apparatus performs side-link transmission according to the reception capability parameter and/or the transmission capability parameter.
