Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a communication method and device. The method comprises: an access management network element receives a registration request from a terminal device, the access management network element obtains configuration type indication information, and according to the configuration type indication information, determines to execute restricted registration and start up a restricted registration timer; and once the restricted registration timer times out, the access management network element initiates a deregistration process so as to deregister a UE from a network. By means of the described method, a terminal device can be prevented from malicious long-term residence or accessing another service, and the described solution achieves simple and easy deployment implementation.
