Abstract:
The present application relates to a communication method and device. An access network device receives a first message from a first terminal device. The access network device obtains an identifier of a second terminal device and first relay instruction information from the first message, wherein the first relay instruction information is used for instructing the first terminal device to perform a relay service between the second terminal device and the access network device. In the embodiments of the present application, the access network device where the first terminal device is located can determine that the first terminal device is a relay terminal device, and can determine that the second terminal device is a distal terminal device. That is, in this way, a network of the relay terminal device can sense the distal terminal device.
