Abstract:
Disclosed are communication method and a related device, which can be applied to communication between a network device with a large coverage area and a high-speed terminal device, or communication between a network device with a small coverage area and a low-speed terminal device, etc. A management device determines a first route on the basis of the position information of a first aircraft; the management device determines, according to the first route, a target network device to which handover is performed potentially, and instructs the target network device to provide a communication service for the first aircraft. By estimating the route of the first aircraft, a network device set in which cell handover can be performed is selected in advance, thus reducing the signaling used for channel quality detection between the first aircraft and the network device set managed by the management equipment, and improving the throughput between the aircraft and network devices.
