Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide a communication method and a related device. The method is applied to a terminal. The method comprises: sending first information to a network device in a first network, wherein the first information is used to instruct a first target operation to be performed on a radio resource control (RRC) connection of the terminal in the first network, wherein the first target operation comprises suspension, or release or pause; and performing a second target operation on the RRC connection of the terminal in the first network, wherein the second target operation comprises suspension, or release, or pause. The embodiments of the present application can reduce the waste of network resources.
