Abstract:

The present invention provides a technology for enabling remote management of selling of commodities by a vending machine. The present invention pertains to a sensor unit 500 that is mounted to a vending machine and that unlocks the vending machine on the basis of encrypted data transmitted from a terminal device. This sensor unit is provided with: an encryption processing unit 501d that generates a public key and a secret key and that encrypts an unlocking code using the public key; a hash generation unit 501e that performs hashing, with a hash function, of sensor information including at least a sensor ID and positional information of a sensor and outputs a hash value; a management unit 501g that stores and manages, in a storage unit 503, at least the public key and the hash value in association with each other; and an unlocking unit 501f that determines the success or failure of the encrypted data transmitted from the terminal device and that unlocks the vending machine when the encrypted data matches with the encrypted data generated by the encryption processing unit.
