Abstract:
A compact-type umbrella, which comprises a frame, a canopy, and a handle (2), and the frame comprises a shaft (1), a notch fixed to an upper end of the shaft (1), a runner movably arranged on the shaft (1), and ribs that respectively articulate with the notch and the runner; the handle (2) is a hollow cylindrical body (21), and the shaft (1) is insertedly connected to a bottom part of the handle (2); inner and outer diameters of the hollow cylindrical body (21) are configured such that, as the umbrella naturally retracts, the hollow cylindrical body (21) is able to accommodate the runner to slide in, the ribs, upon retracting, surround an outer side of the handle (2), at least half of the length of the handle (2) enters into an inner ring encirclingly formed after the ribs retract, and further, cooperation of a stability member (22) allows a user more stability and comfort when holding the umbrella, the handle (2) is not prone to shaking when held for a long time, and also, after the folding umbrella is folded up and stored, the entire length of the umbrella is further shortened, the experience of the user is good, and storage of the whole umbrella is facilitated.
