Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a composite containing a β-tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP) substrate and an octacalcium phosphate (OCP) crystal layer, and a method for producing the same. The composite contains a β-TCP substrate comprising a β-TCP crystal particle filled body, and an OCP crystal layer on the surface of the β-TCP substrate. The method for producing the composite is provided with a step for immersing, in a mother liquor that contains calcium ions and phosphate ions and has a magnesium ion content of no more than 0.5 mM, at least a portion of the surface of the substrate comprising the β-TCP crystal particle filled body.
