Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composite fiber wherein: two or more kinds of polymers, which are different from each other in the dissolution rate in a solvent, are stacked from the center of the fiber in the direction toward the fiber surface in a cross-section of the fiber; the innermost layer comprising the center of the fiber contains an easily soluble polymer; and two or more kinds of poorly soluble polymers, which have different melting points, are unevenly distributed in at least one layer other than the innermost layer. The present invention also relates to a multifilament which contains a flat hollow fiber, wherein the coefficient of variation CV of the rotation angle of the major axis of the flat hollow fiber is from 15% to 50%.
