Abstract:
The purpose of the present disclosure is to provide: a separator for a power storage device having greater safety; and a power storage device or the like employing said separator. The separator for a power storage device has a substrate containing polyolefin and a single or plurality of layers formed thereon. The polyolefin contained in the substrate has one or more types of functional groups that form a cross-linked structure in the power storage device. In an embodiment, the layers include a layer containing inorganic particles and a layer containing a thermoplastic polymer. In another embodiment, the layers include a surface layer such as a thermoplastic-polymer-containing layer, an active layer, or a heat-resistant porous layer.
