Abstract:
The present invention provides a composition which is able to maintain a desired viscosity for a long period of time, while containing a bleaching agent component. A composition which contains a carboxyl group-containing polymer composition (A), a bleaching agent component (B), an alkalinity buffering agent (C) and water (D), while having a pH higher than 10, and which is configured such that: the carboxyl group-containing polymer composition (A) contains a copolymer (a) of a monomer that contains an α, β-unsaturated carboxylic acid (a-1) and a compound (a-2) that has at least two ethylenically unsaturated groups in each molecule, and a nonionic surfactant (b); and the carboxyl group-containing polymer composition (A) is obtained by adding the nonionic surfactant (b) into the system at the time when the polymerization rate of the α, β-unsaturated carboxylic acid (a-1) reaches 5-80% in a step for copolymerizing the monomer.
