Title:
COMPOSITION CONTAINING BRANCHED POLYMER FOR VIBRATION-DAMPING MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/043426
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A purpose of the present invention is to provide a vibration damper which, in a specific temperature range around room temperature (-20ºC to 20ºC), shows extremely high vibration-damping (energy-attenuating) properties with respect to vibrations having a frequency not lower than low frequencies (several hertz), which can have vibration-damping performance that has been controlled at will so that the damper effectively functions not only in a low-temperature high-frequency range but also in an extremely-low-frequency specific range and in a specific temperature range, and which has a high degree of freedom of material design. The vibration damper is accomplished with a composition for vibration-damping materials which comprises a branched polymer (A) and a resin (B), the amount of the branched polymer (A) being 15-85 wt.% with respect to the total amount of the branched polymer (A) and the resin (B).
