Abstract:
The composition according to the invention will be intended, in terms of its scope, as resource used in the pharmacy industry as a powerful probiotic intended to improve viability of beneficial bacteria, in case of digestive problems and disorders to improve the environment in the gastrointestinal tract, to boost the body's immune system, to maintain and promote healthy intestinal microbiota balance.. According to the invention, the composition of the dietary nutritional supplement comprises / expressed in parts by weight % / bentonite from 30 to 75, probiotic or combination of probiotic from 5 to 50, magnesium oxide from 3 to 6 and agar-agar from 5 to 15. The probiotic is composed of monocultures of Lactobacillus bulgaricus, Lactococcus lactis, Acetobacter pasteurianus, Leuconostoc mesenteroides, Streptococcus thermophilus, Bifidobacterium bifidum. The composition according to the invention also satisfies the requirement for magnesium needs to be maintained in the human body. At the same time, it has a detoxifying effect and its use leads to an improvement of the pH balance maintained in the body.

PATENT CLAIMS

1. A composition of a dietary nutritional supplement comprising bentonite and a probiotic, characterized in that it further comprises / expressed in parts by weight % / magnesium oxide from 3 to 6 and agar-agar from 5 to 15, the other components are bentonite, probiotic or a combination of probiotic, available in the following amounts bentonite from 30 to 75, probiotic from 5 to 50.

SCOPE AND APPLICATION

The present invention relates to composition subject to further application whose benefits would be utilized in the pharmacy industry as a powerful probiotic intended to improve viability of beneficial bacteria, in case of digestive problems and disorders to improve the environment in the gastrointestinal tract , to boost the body's immune system, to maintain and promote healthy intestinal microbiota balance.

BACKGROUND OF PRIOR ART

Throughout ancient human history bentonite clay has been used across various cultures and civilizations and people have been convinced of its therapeutic benefits. Due to its widespread distribution and because of its availability, bentonite is gradually beginning to be introduced with a contemporary application as a supportive therapeutic agent with regard to a number of diseases.

Recent studies show that an informed dietary intake of bentonite leads to reduction of the incidence of disease in humans and animals by 40-60%. The main benefit of bentonite, however, is associate with the prevention of many preclinical conditions, caused by the modem life style.

During the hydration process reaction, bentonite can increase its volume by 14 to 16 times.

This property of bentonite along with its non-toxicity makes it a very valuable resource and raw material to be use in construction, food industry and pharmacy.

From patent document CZ194 (A3) it has become known the use of a combination of at least one lyophilized anaerobic or facultative anaerobic strain of bacteria of species of the genus Lactobacterius, Lactococcus and Enterococcus, and bentonite and / or zeolite containing in 1 g 10-11 to 1010 vital bacteria as a probiotic preparation for increasing the used properties of feed and feed mixtures intended for farm animals.

Patent document CN102008016 (A) discloses and reveals to the public a probiotic powder and a method for its preparation. The probiotic powder contains a mixture of active probiotics and active zeolite in the following weight percentages: 30 to 50 percent zeolite, 20 to 40 percent attapulgite clay and 10 to 30 percent bentonite. The probiotic / solid/ powder provides a mean an source related to high quality and cheap substitute for antibiotics intended for livestock breeding; probiotic / solid / powder containing 1 to 4 million CFU live bacteria is added to each gram of feed, whereby the growth rate of chickens, pigs and fish can be improved by 2.0 to 15.6 percent, the feed conversion ratio can be improved by 1.1 to 9.3 percent, and the rate of diarrhea and animal mortality can be reduced to a significant extend. Patent document CN108936000 (A) relates to a method for producing special feed for pigs at the end of pregnancy and during late gestation. The method comprises the following steps: mixing corn flour with fish meal, soy porridge and brewer's yeast; mixing xanthan gum with bentonite, monoglycerides and water, heating the mixture and stirring, adding cornstarch, mixing, heating and pre-gelatinizing, lowering the temperature, adding soybean oil and xylooligosaccharide, stirring and drying ; uniform mixing of linoleic acid with calcium; formate, complex vitamins, chromium methionine, complex of amino acids of iron compounds, taurine, thymol, probiotic preparation, mixing of the second mixture with choline; chloride to obtain the third mixture; evenly mixing the first with the third mixture, adding calcium hydrogen phosphate, table salt, rock dust, lysine, methionine, threonine, magnesium sulfate and composite trace elements, subsequent granulation and drying to obtain special feed for sows in late pregnancy.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The purpose of the present invention is to create and provide a composition of a dietary nutritional supplement based on bentonite and probiotic (s) which has a positive effect when applied to humans, to ensure increased viability of probiotic bacteria, to have long-term health effect, to have an increased detoxifying impact and not to contain synthetic polymers.

The objective is achieved by means of a nutrient dietary supplement composition includsive of bentonite from 30 to 75, probiotic from 5 to 50, magnesium oxide from 3 to 6, and agar- agar from 5 to 15. According to an embodiment of the invention, the probiotic may be represented in combination with a probiotic. The probiotics referred to are Lactobacillus bulgaricus, Lactococcus lactis, Acetobacter pasteurianus, Leuconostoc mesenteroides, Streptococcus thermophilus, Bifidobacterium bifidum.

The probiotics under this invention are products available on the market. These probiotics are Lactobacillus bulgaricus ATCC 21815 , Lactococcus lactis SrfIB232, Acetobacter pasteurianus NBRC 101655 , Leuconostoc mesenteroides CECT 891 , Streptococcus thermophilus SbfGER352, Bifidobacterium bifidum DSM 20456, ATCC 29521, JCM 1255.

According to the invention, the bentonite is purified by methods known and revealed with regard to the industry.

Probiotics are live microorganisms that, when administered in sufficient quantities, have a health benefits and beneficial impact with regard to the human body. One of the most important an significant feature of probiotic bacteria is their ability to survive as they pass through the upper parts of the gastrointestinal tract and reach the colon alive and in sufficient quantities, and are subsequently subject to colonization and do multiply therein. At the above- mentioned area they produce vital enzymes and cell bioproducts. Probiotic bacteria are not a permanent inhabitant of the human microbial flora, so they must be subject to intake administered with food constantly and for a long time in order to be able experience their beneficial health effects. The probiotic aims to boost the body's immune system and to maintain and promote healthy intestinal microbiota balance. Bentonite has demonstrate proven positive effect on digestive problems, such as: acid reflux, bloating, gas, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting, etc. In addition to the foregoing, montmorillonite is characterized by its antibacterial properties and bentonite modulates the immune response of the body. Bentonite particles inhibit the production of lipopolysaccharides by pathogenic bacteria and thus make them more susceptible to antibodies. Studies performed demonstrate that bentonite is very effective in dealing with antibiotic-resistant staphylococci, as well as Escherichia coli and salmonella. Bacteria cannot develop resistance to bentonite the way it is done when developing strategies to resist the effects of antibiotics.

The active ingredient and component in bentonite is montmorillonite Magnesium is important and essential for all living organisms (including probiotic bacteria) because of its ability to bind to proteins or other molecules, carry out ion transport, activate and mediate a number of biochemical reactions.

It is estimated that between 30% and 67% of magnesium intake rate is fully absorbed. The digestibility of magnesium as a dietary supplement depends to a significant extend on the substance with which it is combined. According to the invention, magnesium oxide is included in the present composition. Unexpectedly, it was found out that in aqueous media magnesium oxide combines quickly with water, and forms a base raising the pH in the body, an effect that is very similar to the action of montmorillonite. It has been ascertained that the two ingredients of the composition according to the invention have identically oriented effect and impact, i.e potentiation is achieved. At the same time, magnesium oxide forms negative ions, which bind to the positive ions of mothmorillonite and provide the opportunity for those to act in the gastrointestinal tract, rather than being absorbed through the small intestine. According to the invention, extension and prolongation of the positive effect of mothmorillonite and magnesium oxide has been achieved.

It is required to specify the dietary nutritional supplement contains live bacteria of 2-5 billion (CFU) per 1 g of a product.

The dietary nutritional supplement constitutes a dry powder substance that is available for administration and intake in capsules' form.

The advantages associated with the composition according to the invention are:

Due to its high pH, bentonite improves the environment in the digestive tract and increases the viability of probiotic bacteria, while limiting the reproduction of other undesirable microflora such as Helicobacter pylori, due to the alkaline environment it creates. This makes it possible to significantly reduce the bacterial content of the capsules while maintaining the same therapeutic effect or to significantly increase the action of the probiotic having the identical amount of bacteria.

The composition is free of animal products. Vegetable agar-agar gel is a natural organic polymer that improves the viscosity of bentonite, unlike currently used synthetic polymers. The organic polymer also provides a favorable nutrient medium for probiotic bacteria.

The composition according to the invention constitutes a powerful probiotic with improved viability of beneficial bacteria and satisfies the need for magnesium requirements in the human body. At the same time it has a detoxifying effect and its use leads to improved pH balance maintained in the body.

EXAMPLES OF EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

The invention is described in more detail by means of preferred embodiment’s representation without limiting its scope.

Example 1

The dietary nutritional supplement contains:

Bentonite - 75 parts by weight,

Lactobacillus bulgaricus - 6 parts by weight Magnesium oxide - 4 parts by weight;

Agar- agar- 15 Method of preparation:

At room temperature bentonite and magnesium oxide are mixed, adding the probiotic Lactobacillus bulgaricus containing 5.0 x 109 viable cells[CFU]/ g, and the mixture is homogenized for 40 minutes at a stirrer speed of 60 rpm. This is followed by filling it into capsules with unit does of 1.3 mg.

Example 2

The dietary nutritional supplement contains:

Bentonite - 71.6 parts by weight,

Lactococcus lactis - 10 parts by weight,

Magnesium oxide - 5.4 parts by weight.,

Agar - agar- 13 parts by weight. The method of preparation of the additive is identical to the one revealed in example 1, and Lactococcus lactis contains 4.4 x 109 viable cells[CFU]/gr.

Example 3.

The dietary nutritional supplement contains:

Bentonite - 66.8 parts by weight Acetobacter pasteurianus - 20 parts by weight,

Magnesium oxide - 4.2 parts by weight,

Agar agar - 9

The method of preparation of the additive is identical to the one revealed in example 1, and Acetobacter pasteurianus contains 3.2 x 109 viable cells[CFU]/gr, the unit capsule dose is 1 mg.

Example 4.

The dietary nutritional supplement contains Bentonite - 62 parts by weight,

Leuconostoc mesenteroides - 30 parts by weight Magnesium oxide - 3 parts by weight;

Agar- agar - 5.

The method of preparation of the additive is identical to the one revealed in example 1, and Leuconostoc mesenteroides contains 2.0 x 109 viable cells[CFU]/gr. Example 5.

The dietary nutritional supplement contains:

Bentonite - 64.4 parts by weight,

Streptococcus thermophilus - 25 parts by weight,

Magnesium oxide - 3.6 parts by weight,

Agar agar - 7.

The method of preparation of the additive is identical to the one revealed in example 1, and Streptococcus thermophilus contains 2.6 x 109 viable cells[CFU]/gr.

Example 6.

The dietary nutritional supplement contains:

Bentonite - 69.2 parts by weight;

Bifidobacterium bifidum - 15 parts by weight,

Magnesium oxide - 4.8 parts by weight;

Agar- agar -11

The method of preparation of the additive is identical to the one revealed in example 1, Bifidobacterium bifidum contains 3.86 x 109 viable cells[CFU]/gr.

Example 7.

The dietary nutritional supplement contains Bentonite - 30 parts by weight.,

Lactococcus lactis - 50 parts by weight

Magnesium oxide - 6 parts by weight; Agar- agar - 14.

The method of preparation of the additive is identical to the one revealed in example 1, and Lactococcus lactis contains 4.4 x 109 viable cells[CFU]/gr.

Example 8

The dietary nutritional supplement contains:

Bentonite - 74 parts by weight,

Lactobacillus bulgaricus - 5 parts by weight Magnesium oxide -6 parts by weight; .

Bentonite - 65 parts by weight;

Lactobacillus bulgaricus - 2 parts by weight Acetobacter pasteurianus - 12 parts by weight,

Magnesium oxide -6 parts by weight;

Agar - agar- 15

The method of preparation of the additive is identical to the one revealed in example, and Lactobacillus bulgaricus contains 5.0 x 109 viable cells[CFU]/gr. Acetobacter pasteurianus contains 3.2 x 109 viable cells[CFU]/gr.
