Abstract:
Provided is a composition comprising: particles having a refractive index of at least 2.0 and an average primary particle diameter of at most 200 nm; a film-forming component including at least one selected from a resin and a polymerizable monomer; and a solvent, wherein the film-forming component includes at least two kinds of resins, or includes at least one kind of resin and at least one kind of polymerizable monomer, and when a film having a thickness of 4 μm is formed by heating said composition at 200°C for 5 minutes, the maximum value of light transmittance in the wavelength range of 400-1000 nm of the film is at most 80%, and the film has therein a phase-separated structure in which a first phase including the particles and a second phase having a lower particle content than the first phase are separated. Also provided are a film and an optical sensor in which said composition is used.
