The present invention relates to a composition for preventing, alleviating or treating hot flush, tingling of limbs or palpitation in menopausal women, containing Lactobacillus acidophilus, and the like. It has been confirmed that, when a Lactobacillus acidophilus YT1 strain according to the present invention is provided to the human body in a food item, effects in which hot flashes, tingling of limbs, palpitation and the like are alleviated in menopausal women are exhibited after the administration of the food item containing the strain. Therefore, it is expected that a composition containing the Lactobacillus acidophilus, according to the present invention, can be effectively used for a use of preventing, alleviating or treating hot flashes, tingling of limbs or palpitation in menopausal women.
