Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a composition for preventing hair loss or promoting hair growth. According to the present invention, Wnt protein-derived peptides, polydeoxyribonucleotide, or mixtures thereof increase the secretion of beta-catenin (β-catenin), and increase the growth of keratinocytes, fibroblasts, and dermal papilla cells, which are hair-forming cells, through cell activation and hair growth promotion signaling system activation, thereby preventing hair loss and promoting hair growth. Thus, Wnt protein-derived peptides, polydeoxyribonucleotide, or mixtures thereof, which have such effects, can be effectively used as cosmetic compositions, pharmaceutical compositions, health food compositions, etc. for preventing hair loss or promoting hair growth.
