Abstract:
A problem addressed by the present disclosure, at least, is to provide a composition for the production of 6,3'-dihydroxyequol. The problem is solved by a composition that includes an equol-containing composition, a first enzyme or a first microorganism capable of converting the equol in the equol-containing composition into 3'-hydroxyequol, and a second enzyme or a second microorganism capable of converting the equol in the equol-containing composition into 6-hydroxyequol.
